About
Elyse Bagley

Elyse is a seasoned project leader with over a decade of experience across food, retail, and tech. She’s led store openings, scaled new categories, and brought structure to high-growth teams—always with a calm presence, strategic focus, and a deep commitment to doing work that matters for people and the planet. Her experience spans brands like Gap Inc., Google, and New Leaf Community Markets.

After years of building operational systems from the inside, Elyse started In the Bag to help more mission-driven brands grow with clarity, care, and integrity. She believes great outcomes start with strong relationships—and is proud to partner with teams that prioritize sustainability, equity, and long-term impact over short-term wins.

When she’s not deep in a launch plan or building the perfect slide deck, she’s likely poring over a messy spreadsheet, fine-tuning font choices—and always thinking about what’s for dinner (ideally pasta).

FAQ

  • Project pricing is tailored based on scope, timeline, and support level. After a discovery call, I’ll provide a custom proposal with options—whether that’s a flat fee for a defined deliverable or a monthly retainer for ongoing support. I don’t list pricing publicly to ensure flexibility for different needs and budgets.

  • I partner with purpose-driven brands—especially in food, wellness, and sustainability—on product launches, store openings, category strategy, operational rollouts, and more. While those industries are my sweet spot, I’ve worked across retail, tech, and other sectors, and I’m always up for a good challenge with great people.

  • It starts with a discovery call to understand your goals, timelines, and team structure. If there’s a mutual fit, you’ll receive a custom proposal. Once approved, we’ll kick off with a strategy session to align on priorities, milestones, and ways of working—then get started.

  • I believe strong relationships and clear communication are the foundation of every successful project. That means frequent, proactive engagement—tailored to the needs of your team and the rhythm of the work. Whether it’s a daily standup or a weekly check-in, I come prepared with agendas, action items, notes, and follow-ups. I work to create structure without adding noise, keeping momentum steady while helping everyone stay aligned and supported.

  • I blend hands-on project execution with systems thinking and operational insight. That means I don’t just keep things moving—I help make the work itself smarter, smoother, and more aligned. I bring a calm, organized presence and take ownership of the details, while staying focused on the big picture. My goal is to create clarity, reduce friction, and keep momentum strong from start to finish.
